Sunday June 14th Smart Soul Connection transforms Livorno into the epicentre of “Modernist” culture with two authors for a talk that promises to keep the audience on the edge of their seats.
On one side, Andrea Maccarone will be presenting his newly released book, “Gli ultimi ribelli – Chi ha ucciso le sottoculture?” — a lucid and sociological analysis of the metamorphosis of youth identities in the social media era. On the other, we will have the honour of hosting London-based Ray Butler, who will present in absolute world premiere his ambitious new editorial project: a work dedicated to the development of Mod culture on a global scale, tracing how this style crossed the borders of the United Kingdom to influence the entire world.
To make the atmosphere even more electrifying, Gazzara Bossa Lounge Experience will punctuate the talk with the unmistakable sound of Francesco Gazzara’s organ, transporting us into the sixties and seventies atmospheres of jazz, bossa and lounge rhythms.
A dynamic talk, between international literary premieres and vintage vibes. You cannot miss it!
